Back Strap Tension-Activated Wrist Release
Regular price $229.99 Save $-229.99The Nock On Back Strap solves one of archery’s biggest problems: starting with a wrist strap release that leads to punching the trigger and freezing on target.
This tension-activated wrist release brings proven back tension principles to a comfortable wrist strap design. After years of coaching archers through target panic issues, we’ve built a release that lets you safely draw, anchor properly, and get a true surprise shot every time.
When that buck steps into range, this release delivers rock-solid performance.
The Back Strap uses a practical safety system that actually works in the field. Draw your bow with your finger behind the trigger, anchor solid, then squeeze the trigger to deactivate the safety. Now pull back against the wall to your preset weight until your shot breaks with a total surprise — no punching, no freezing, just a clean break.
This release brings proper shooting technique to a wrist strap design, giving you the benefits of back tension while keeping the familiar feel many hunters prefer.
We’ve licensed a BOA strap system that flat-out works in the field. It’s the same tech used in quality snowboard boots and running shoes, so you know it’s built to last.
Just push the dial and tighten it to your comfort level, whether you’re in a T-shirt or bundled up. Done shooting? Just lift the dial, hear the click, and slide your hand right out.
No more fumbling with Velcro or D-loops that never hit the right spot. This is comfortable, quiet, and built for real hunting conditions.
The Back Strap uses the same internal mechanism as our Silverback Plus series, giving you tension adjustment from nine up to 40 pounds of pull tension with just one spring. No need to swap springs or components. Just turn the Allen wrench and you’re set.
A little adjustment goes a long way — usually just a quarter turn makes a noticeable difference. For best results of firing tension, set it about four to six pounds over your bow’s holding weight (e.g., if you’re at 80% let-off on a 70-pound bow, you’re holding 14 pounds, so set the release around 18-20 pounds, which is right where it comes out of the package).
The Back Strap is built super compact — no more bulky releases hanging off your wrist. The open-hook design makes loading onto your D-loop quick and clean, even with cold hands or low light. Just hook and go. The jaw opens smoothly and reliably every time.
We’ve kept everything tight and minimal without sacrificing durability, because we know this release needs to perform season after season in tough conditions.
The jaw is a reverse design that opens away from your face, giving you ideal clearance with a beard or face mask.
What really separates the Back Strap from anything else out there is that you can use it two ways: Set it up for proper tension activation to build good habits and eliminate target panic, or quickly adjust it to work just like a standard index release if that’s what you need for a specific hunting situation.
This isn’t just a release. It’s also the ultimate training tool that’ll improve your shot process. Perfect for new shooters avoiding bad habits or experienced archers looking to clean up their form.
The Back Strap works in a straightforward, practical way:
Need to use it like a standard index trigger release? Just back out the tension screw until it’s about flush with the casing, tighten the set screw, and you’re good to go. It works just like the wrist strap you’re used to.
Through years of coaching, I’ve seen one problem more often than any other: new archers starting with a wrist strap release, developing the habit of punching the trigger, and ending up with target panic or buck fever.
The Back Strap fixes this issue by bringing proper back tension principles to a familiar wrist strap design.
The concept is simple but powerful: Trust your pin float, pull through the shot, and let it break with a surprise. This is the same technique used by top competitive archers worldwide and now available in a format that works for both training and hunting.
If you’ve struggled with freezing under the target or punching your release, or if you just want to build better shooting habits from the start, the Back Strap will help you get there. No gimmicks, no compromises — just solid technique built into a practical design that performs when it matters.
The BOA system is incredibly durable — it’s the same technology used in high-end snowboard boots and cycling shoes.
To tighten, just push down on the BOA dial and rotate for perfect micro-adjustment. For removal, simply lift the BOA dial until it clicks and slide your hand out. This allows for much better adjustability than traditional Velcro straps, especially when wearing different clothing layers or gloves.
Most archers can use their existing peep setup without changes. For proper form, place your index knuckle at the base of your earlobe, with your thumb slightly relaxed under your jawline. This position typically maintains your existing peep height.
If needed, you can make minor D-loop adjustments more easily than with handheld releases, since wrist releases don’t create the same string torque concerns.
The Back Strap adjusts from nine to 40 pounds with a single spring — no need to swap components like with older releases. One full turn changes the activation weight by approximately 10 pounds, so small adjustments make a big difference.
For most setups, set it to fire at four to six pounds over your bow’s holding weight. For example, if you’re shooting a 70-pound bow with 80% let-off (14 pounds holding weight), start with the tension around 19–20 pounds, which is how it comes out of the package.
Absolutely. After drawing and squeezing the trigger to deactivate the safety, you can simply release pressure on the trigger to re-engage the safety, allowing you to let down safely. This makes the Back Strap practical for hunting situations where you might need to hold and then let down.
Yes, you’ll likely notice a different point of impact compared to other releases. This follows the common archery principle that when you change anything, you change everything.
Most right-handed shooters find they hit slightly left with the Back Strap compared to handheld releases. Adjust your sight accordingly, and consider marking your sight or counting clicks so you can quickly switch between releases if needed.
Both releases use the same internal tension mechanism, but determining which one is better comes down to personal preference.
The Back Strap is ideal if you prefer having your release always attached to your wrist or you’re transitioning from a traditional wrist strap. The Silverback Plus might be better if you prefer a handheld release’s feel and anchor position. Both provide the same tension-activated surprise shot, just with different anchor positions and handling characteristics.
Yes. The BOA system accommodates wrists as small as 5.75″ in diameter, making it comfortable for youth archers, women, and anyone with smaller wrists. The adjustable cord length also ensures proper trigger positioning regardless of hand size.

Hand Fletched Axis Match Grade Arrows (6ct)
Regular price $159.99 Save $-159.99When accuracy and penetration are non-negotiable, these Nock On Hand-Fletched Axis Match Grade arrows stand alone in precision and build quality.
Each arrow shaft comes from a three-mile continuous run of high modulus carbon with match-grade tolerances — the highest standard Easton produces and is made in the USA.
Built to John Dudley’s exact personal specifications, these arrows are custom cut and hand-fletched with unwavering attention to detail, delivering the tightest groups you’ve ever shot. With brass inserts standard for enhanced FOC and a 4-fletch configuration with 2.5° right helical, these arrows are ready to deliver lethal accuracy whether you’re in the backcountry or on the tournament line with a whisper-quiet flight.
Each shaft comes from a brand-new carbon spool that produces over three miles of continuous material, cut in sequence to ensure perfect shaft consistency. This proprietary process delivers unmatched accuracy through identical spine and weight characteristics across every arrow in your set.
Built using Nock On Certified wraps and Max Stealth Vanes in a 4-fletch configuration with 2.5° right helical. This proven fletching setup provides superior stability and broadhead accuracy.
Each arrow is hand-fletched to match John Dudley’s competition and hunting specifications. This outperforms competitors’ pre-fletch alternatives, which must sacrifice types of vanes, glues, and vane offsets due to what a machine will allow.
Every arrow includes pre-installed brass HIT inserts with break-off weight adjustment options, Broadhead Adapter Rings (BAR), and pre-installed green 5mm (X) nocks. This complete system ensures maximum accuracy and consistent broadhead alignment.

Hand Fletched FMJ Match Grade Arrows (6ct)
Regular price $174.99 Save $-174.99These hand fletched match grade Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) arrows are the exact arrow setup John Dudley relies on for successful shooting and bowhunting.
Built with meticulous attention to detail, these pro-level arrows are cut to your specified length with inserts installed and ready to shoot right out of the box. Each set delivers match grade straightness (.001+/-) and weight tolerance for unmatched accuracy and penetration performance.
The 5mm FMJ combines a carbon core with an aluminum outer jacket that reduces wind drift and friction for deeper penetration. Each arrow is hand fletched in a 4-fletch configuration with 2.5-degree right helical using Nock On Certified wraps and Max Stealth Vanes, the exact specs from John’s personal setup.
The FMJ arrow has a heavier overall mass weight compared to standard carbon arrows, giving you increased momentum and penetration power. This extra weight translates to knockdown performance on big game.
With its aluminum sleeve over carbon construction, the FMJ remains John’s go-to choice for elk, moose, and any hunting situation where maximum penetration matters.
“The FMJ is just a demolisher,” John says. “These are heavier overall... and in the field, this thing rams through some serious stuff.”
The aluminum outer jacket on the FMJ reduces friction during penetration compared to standard carbon arrows. This friction reduction, combined with the arrow’s increased mass, creates the perfect combination for punching through game.
The smooth aluminum surface also makes these arrows much easier to pull from targets during practice sessions, particularly from 3D targets in colder temperatures.
Each arrow features our precision 4-fletch setup with a 2.5-degree right helical, using Max Stealth Vanes for optimal broadhead steering.
This configuration corrects arrow flight faster than traditional 3-fletch setups and allows you to shoot multiple broadhead types with consistent accuracy.
The 4-fletch pattern compensates for minor tuning variations, giving you more confidence when it matters most.
Every FMJ comes standard with pre-installed brass 50/75 grain break-off HIT 8*32 inserts. These custom brass inserts, developed by John himself, boost Front of Center (FOC) weight distribution for improved long-range accuracy.
The inserts are installed using premium hot melt that allows for broadhead indexing if needed. Just warm the insert to adjust broadhead alignment.
Each arrow includes pre-installed Broadhead Adapter Rings (BAR) that encapsulate the end of your arrow and help align your broadheads.
This system creates consistent broadhead flight and helps protect the arrow’s front end from impact damage.
These aren’t ordinary arrows. They’re match grade with a guaranteed straightness tolerance of +/-.001″.
Each batch of FMJs comes from a continuous 3-mile spool of carbon, cut in sequence to ensure spine and weight consistency. This manufacturing process creates arrows that are “perfect clones” of each other, eliminating variables and maximizing accuracy.
Size | Shaft Weight (GPI) |
BAR | O.D. |
400 | 10.2 | BAR 3 | 0.263 |
340 | 11.3 | BAR 5 | 0.269 |
300 | 12.0 | BAR 5 | 0.273 |
250 | 11.5 | BAR 5 | 0.273 |
The FMJ 300 spine at 29.5″ with 75 grains of brass and a 100-grain point weighs approximately 570 grains. With 50 grains of brass instead of 75, the same arrow weighs about 545 grains.
These weights don’t include lighted nocks, which add approximately 12 grains if installed.
John doesn’t just sell these arrows. He relies on them personally.
“I’m not building my own arrows anymore,” he explains. “I walk in the shop, I get these exact arrows, and I take them and shoot them.”
The hand fletched FMJ arrows require no additional tuning or knock indexing. They’re ready to deliver tight groups straight from the package.
Note: Custom-built arrows are non-returnable once specifications are confirmed.
These aren’t the cheapest arrows on the shelf, but they perform so consistently that John Dudley himself trusts them completely. They’ve put meat in his freezer for years.
When you factor in the match grade straightness, the hand fletching, and the fact that these arrows are ready to shoot right out of the box, you’re getting an incredible value.
Would you rather spend a little more on arrows that perform when it counts, or would you rather save money and lose the shot of a lifetime?
The FMJ 300 spine, at 29.5″ with 75 grains of brass and a 100-grain point weighs approximately 570 grains, is heavier than most carbon setups.
You’ll need to adjust your sight pins, and you’ll have more arc at longer distances. But you gain devastating penetration and momentum that demolishes whatever it hits.
The FMJ is a heavy hitter by design. If you’re hunting big game or want maximum penetration, that extra weight is your friend. Lighter arrows give you a flatter trajectory, but heavier arrows give you more knockdown power.
Absolutely. Compared to standard carbon arrows, these arrows are easier to pull from targets in cold weather.
The aluminum outer jacket reduces friction, which means less wrestling with stuck arrows during winter practice sessions. The aluminum jacket also helps with durability in extreme temperatures.
John has shot these in everything from Texas heat to Canadian cold, and they perform consistently.
You’ll likely need some tuning adjustments because of the weight difference, but the 4-fletch configuration is forgiving. The 4-fletch setup corrects arrow flight faster than traditional 3-fletch and compensates for minor tuning variations. Most archers can get these flying well with minimal adjustments.
The match grade straightness and weight consistency means they stay consistent once you get them tuned. Just make sure you select the right spine for your setup.
There’s no such thing as “too much penetration” when it comes to ethical hunting. Yes, these arrows will demolish a whitetail, but that’s what you want. Complete pass-throughs mean better blood trails and quicker recoveries.
John has used these arrows on every animal from whitetails to elk. The confidence you get knowing your arrow will punch through whatever it hits is unmatched. The quiet flight characteristics also help. Deer don’t pick up the sound like they do with lighter arrows.
These arrows are built tough. The aluminum outer jacket protects the carbon core and makes them more durable than standard carbon arrows. They’re easier to pull from targets, which reduces stress on the arrow during practice.
If you practice a lot in field conditions, you might break a few here and there, but that’s true of any arrow. The durability you get with the FMJ construction is definitely above average.
Sonic KE — Fully Loaded — Ready-to-Group Arrows (12ct)
Regular price $209.99 Save $-209.99The Nock On Sonic KE arrows deliver exactly what serious bowhunters need — rock-solid consistency, enhanced downrange performance, and hard-hitting impact that gets the job done when it counts.
John Dudley designed these 6mm super straight arrows to be deadly accurate right out of the box, with pre-fletched 3″ Nock On Hybrid vanes that guarantee tight groups in the triple digits. Built in the USA using Easton’s seamless ACU-Carbon process, these shafts give you 100% weight and spine consistency from shaft to shaft and dozen to dozen, so you can trust every arrow in your quiver.
The Sonic KE gives you all the accuracy at the best price. These arrows are priced right, with you getting big benefits without losing on straightness or weight tolerances.
Sonic KE Arrows Core Benefits
The Sonic KE comes standard with custom 75/50 break-off inserts, giving you control over your setup based on your shooting needs. These inserts allow you to boost your FOC dramatically while maintaining optimal overall arrow weight. The shaft’s lighter mass weight compared to Axis or FMJ arrows means you can run the full 75 grains up front and still maintain the total arrow weight you’re used to.
When you choose the full 75 grains of brass, you’ll get 25% more FOC compared to standard arrows with 50 grains of brass. This means better wind-cutting ability and increased momentum that carries through your target — exactly what you need when it matters most.
Spine Selection Tip: For maximum performance with the 75-grain inserts, select one spine size stiffer than your normal arrows with aluminum inserts.
The Sonic KE arrows are built using Easton’s proven AccuCarbon process right here in the USA. This means guaranteed straightness and weight tolerances from shaft to shaft and dozen to dozen. These 6mm shafts provide the perfect balance — stiff enough for consistent accuracy but light enough to maintain speed with the heavier front end.
Each arrow is a SELECT GRADE shaft (+-.0015) that’s presorted at the factory, giving you only the highest quality shafts for straightness and weight consistency. This tight tolerance control eliminates variables from your shooting equation, allowing you to focus on your shot execution rather than worrying about arrow inconsistency.
Whether you’re heading to a Total Archery Challenge, shooting 3D, or hunting big game, these arrows deliver the performance you need.
The lighter shaft weight combined with the heavy front end gives you options that weren’t possible before, maintaining speed for longer distances while still getting the penetration and durability benefits of higher FOC.
For hunting setups, the increased FOC dramatically improves flight stability and penetration on game animals. For competition, you’ll get the accuracy benefits of premium-grade arrows at a price point that won’t break the bank.
Every Sonic KE arrow comes pre-fletched with AAE 2.7″ Stealth Hybrid vanes in a 3-fletch configuration with a perfect 3-degree right helical. This setup delivers proven accuracy at an accessible price point.
The fletch profile provides excellent stability without sacrificing speed, giving you the best of both worlds.
The Sonic KE gives you options other arrows can’t match. Go with 75 grains up front for maximum FOC and penetration, or break off to 50 grains when you need more speed.
This arrow is designed based on what actually works in the field — no marketing hype required; just field-tested performance that delivers when it counts.
These arrows represent the perfect balance of performance and value — premium-grade shafts with the features serious bowhunters need at a price point that makes sense. Whether you’re chasing bulls in the mountains or competing at the highest level, the Sonic KE has the consistency and performance to get it done.
When using the full 75-grain brass inserts, we recommend selecting one spine size stiffer than you would normally shoot. This compensates for the additional front weight that weakens the arrow’s effective spine.
For example, if you typically shoot a 300 spine with 50 grains of brass up front, consider going to a 250 spine when using the whole 75 grains of brass with the Sonic KE.
The Sonic KE has a lighter overall mass weight than comparable Axis or FMJ arrows. For example, a 250-spine Sonic KE weighs approximately 9.5 grains per inch compared to 11.7 grains per inch for a 5mm Axis.
This lighter shaft weight allows you to add more weight up front (75 grains vs. 50 grains) while maintaining a similar total arrow weight to what you’re used to with heavier shafts.
Yes. While the arrows come pre-fletched with a 3-fletch AAE 2.7″ Stealth Hybrid vane in a 3-degree right helical, you can certainly strip these fletches and modify them to your preferences. John Dudley does this for some of his applications, such as switching to a 4-fletch configuration or using different vanes for specific shooting scenarios.
The Sonic KE arrows with the full 75-grain brass insert can achieve up to 25% more FOC compared to standard arrows with 50 grains up front. This increased FOC provides several performance advantages:
The Sonic KE arrows are designed to excel in multiple archery disciplines. The arrow’s base construction provides the consistency needed for both hunting and precision target shooting.
For hunting, the higher FOC option with 75 grains up front provides the penetration and momentum needed for large game animals. For target competitions like the Total Archery Challenge, you can opt for the 50-grain configuration to gain more speed while maintaining excellent accuracy.
The Sonic KE arrows come standard with 75/50 grain break-off brass inserts. These inserts allow you to customize the weight at the front of your arrow based on your needs:
Yes. The Sonic KE arrows come fully assembled and pre-fletched with AAE 2.7″ Stealth Hybrid vanes in a 3-fletch configuration with a 3-degree right helical. They’re built to John Dudley’s exact specifications and are ready to group as soon as you open the package, though you will need to cut them to your preferred length and install your choice of field points or broadheads.

Top Right: Shot Execution Zone — Nine 1¾-inch white aiming dots create the perfect environment for close-range practice. Ideal for basement or garage training, these dots help you focus on precise aim and shot execution fundamentals without distance distractions.
Bottom Left: Trust the Float Zone — This section features one 3½-inch center square surrounded by four 2-inch outer squares designed to help you build confidence in your natural pin movement. The square design makes it easier to visualize your pin float within the boundaries, reducing anxiety compared to traditional circular targets.
Bottom Right: Field Archery Simulation — NFAA Field Target Faces help you prepare for different field archery scenarios. These targets simulate the exact faces you’ll encounter in competition, building familiarity and confidence.
Center Alignment System — Horizontal and vertical center lines create the perfect reference for walk-back and bare shaft tuning. This system helps you dial in your setup, ensuring your arrows fly true when it matters most.
The back side is designed for distance training with dedicated aiming points:
60+ Yard Center Dot: The large 10-inch center aiming point is the perfect target for extreme distance shooting, helping you build confidence when accuracy matters most.
50-Yard Practice System: Four 4-inch outer dots positioned at the corners create the perfect target size for consistent 50-yard practice, helping you master mid-range distances.
40-Yard Star System: Four 3½-inch stars positioned between the center and corners create perfect reference points for 40-yard practice, helping you develop confidence at this critical hunting distance.
Whether you’re building shot stamina after hunting season, working on your tension release, or practicing for tournament pressure, this target bag provides the perfect training environment.

DUE TO WEIGHT AND SIZE, A $26.00 SHIPPING FEE WILL BE ADDED FOR EACH BAG TARGET SHIPPED IN THE USA. TARGETS WILL BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM MORRELL. PLEASE EXPECT A TWO-DAY HANDLING AND PREP TIME PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.
For maximum target life, use field points only. Not suitable for broadheads or arrows with outserts larger than the shaft diameter.
No. The Nock On Training Bag Target is specifically designed for field points only. Using broadheads will damage the target and significantly reduce its lifespan.
For broadhead practice, use a target designed explicitly for that purpose.
No. This target is not recommended for arrows with outserts or field points larger than the arrow shaft diameter. These can damage the target material and make arrow removal difficult, potentially leading to premature wear.
The target weighs 44 pounds and measures 27 inches tall × 25 inches wide × 15 inches deep.
While substantial, it comes equipped with a heavy-duty carrying handle specifically designed for transport. This makes it portable enough to move between indoor and outdoor practice locations, though it’s still a solid target with significant weight.
Because of the target’s size and weight, a $26.00 shipping fee applies for each bag target shipped. Shipping is only available to the lower 48 states in the USA. Targets ship directly from Morrell with approximately two days of handling and prep time prior to shipment.
The Nock On Training Bag Target is built to handle thousands of shots with field points. Its strategic design places aiming points across both sides of the target to promote full use of the target surface, extending its life significantly.
For maximum durability, only use field points and avoid leaving the target in harsh weather for extended periods.
Yes. Replacement covers are available for purchase separately. This allows you to refresh your target’s appearance while continuing to use the core construction, extending the life of your investment.
The target is designed for multiple training applications, including:
Bitzenburger Custom Set Fletching Jig
Regular price $119.99 Save $-119.99The Nock On Custom Bitzenburger Fletching Jig delivers professional-grade arrow-building precision that lasts a lifetime.
Each jig is removed from the box and then custom preset to John Dudley’s exact specifications, allowing you to start fletching immediately with confidence. These zinc die-cast alloy jigs are rock-solid, stable, and built for decades of flawless performance.
If you’re serious about arrow building, this is the jig that flat-out performs.
Unlike plastic jigs that flex and wear out, the solid metal Bitzenburger construction ensures precise, consistent fletching placement every time. The all-metal design also makes cleaning adhesive residue easy and prevents the warping issues common in plastic alternatives.
I’ve owned my jig for 30 years and have seen archers use these jigs for their lifetime — this is truly the last fletching jig you’ll need to buy.
The Bitzenburger features large, easy-to-use dials at the top and bottom of the magnet holder, making angle adjustments quick and straightforward. This allows for perfect fine-tuning of your fletching offset or helical angle to match your shooting style and arrow build requirements. The jig holds the clamp at a 45-degree angle for clear visibility throughout the fletching process.
The permanent horseshoe magnet ensures precise, uniform placement of all feathers and vanes. The metal clamp design allows for easy cleaning of adhesive buildup, maintaining consistent vane placement arrow after arrow.
Each jig comes with either a premium Right or Left helical clamp that delivers perfect helical fletching patterns.
Each Nock On Bitzenburger comes configured to John Dudley’s specifications right out of the box.
You’ll start fletching the exact 4-fletch setup with 2.5-degree helical Dudley uses for both hunting and competition without making a single adjustment.
The jig features a precision nock receiver with three spacing configurations to match your preferred fletching pattern:
Switching between patterns requires simple adjustments to the set screws, with audible click confirmations that ensure perfect spacing every time.
John Dudley designed this jig setup based on what actually works in the field. The Nock On Bitzenburger is the perfect combination of professional-grade construction, precision engineering, and field-tested performance.
When you’re building arrows your success depends on, this jig delivers consistent, professional results every time. This is the exact setup Dudley trusts for his arrows, whether he’s hunting in the backcountry or competing at the highest levels of archery.
Each Nock On Bitzenburger comes preconfigured to John Dudley’s exact hunting and target archery specifications.
We inspect and adjust every jig before shipping to ensure it’s set up with the 4-fletch configuration with a 2.5-degree helical John uses for his arrows. This saves you time and guarantees professional results straight out of the box.
John prefers and recommends the Right helical configuration for optimal arrow flight and broadhead performance. However, both Right and Left helical options are available if you have an established preference.
The helical direction creates spin in your arrow for improved stability, and once you choose a direction, it’s best to stay consistent with all your arrows.
The Nock On arrow wraps include a convenient alignment line that provides the perfect reference point for consistent fletching placement.
For standard setups, position the back of the vane (the end closest to the nock) at this line or approximately 1–1.5 inches from the nock throat. Mark the corresponding tick mark on your clamp with a pencil for consistent placement on all your arrows.
Absolutely. While the jig comes preset to John’s specifications, it’s fully adjustable.
The two main dials adjust the clamp’s angle for different shaft diameters and offset preferences. The three set screws beneath the clamp control the rotation spacing (120°, 90°, or 75°×105°). Tighten the desired set screw just enough to hear the click confirmations, and back out the others until they’re flush with the edge.
The Bitzenburger clamp’s all-metal construction is an advantage over plastic jigs. When you notice glue buildup, use a dull knife to clean excess adhesive off the clamp. This ensures your vane sits flush in the clamp and maintains perfect alignment.
Always make sure your vane is seated all the way down in the clamp before applying it to the arrow.
The Bitzenburger is built to last decades. Many archers report using their jigs for 20+ years without issues. While cheaper options are available, the Bitzenburger’s precision, durability, and consistency make it the last fletching jig you’ll ever need to buy.
For serious archers who value perfect arrow flight, the investment pays for itself in performance and longevity.
A simple test is to place a vane in the clamp, position it against your arrow shaft, and trace along the edge with a pencil or marker. When you remove the clamp, you’ll see exactly what your offset or helical pattern looks like on the shaft. This helps you confirm you’re getting the proper contact between the vane and shaft along the entire length.
