This Commemorative 2 Special Release is a custom- Collectors limited edition run of the release that not only changed my archery life but also paved the way for my teaching styles and the Nock 2 It. The 2 Special was ahead of its time and Won the Vegas Shoot and then opened eyes to two finger shooting styles. Since the first version was just a “concept" from Jerry Carter there simply wasn’t very many to be found. Jerry had given a few out to some of his select archers and they became like a relic to find, especially after posting a coveted 900 in Vegas. Jerry later gave me one he had left in his collection after seeing me use a hinge release with only 2 fingers. “Have you ever seen one of these?” He asked. “Not in person”, I replied and he handed it to me. The 2 Special then raised the bar for me and was responsible for me making my first US Team and then my first International Medal.
