The Ultimate Match-Grade Arrows From John Dudley
I’ve spent decades perfecting my arrow setup, and these Nock On Axis Pro Series shafts are the culmination of that journey. These are the arrows I grab when heading into the backcountry or stepping up to the competition line.
These 5mm arrows deliver boosted FOC match-grade straightness (+/-.001″), and heart-stopping penetration. Each 12-pack comes with pre-installed brass HIT inserts (50/75 grain break-off option), green 5mm X nocks, and broadhead adapter rings (BAR). These carbon-composite micro-diameter shafts are built to the exact specifications I demand for both competition and hunting.
Available in spine sizes 400, 340, 300, 260, with options that’ll perfectly match your bow setup, draw length, and hunting style.

- Micro-Diameter 5mm Design: Delivers superior penetration and reduced wind drift
- Brass HIT Inserts (50/75 Grain): Allows customizable FOC for perfect balance
- Pre-Installed Broadhead Adapter Rings: Creates perfect alignment for broadheads
The Axis Advantage
Timeless Performance
The Axis has been my go-to arrow throughout my entire career.
These particular Axis shafts are special because they’re match grade, meaning the straightness and spine consistency throughout the shaft are guaranteed. These aren’t random production arrows; they’re literally “twins” from the same continuous carbon fiber production run, hand-selected for perfect consistency.
I’ve taken these arrows on every backwoods pursuit you can think of, from whitetail to dangerous game. The 5mm micro-diameter shaft punches through game with minimal resistance while providing the durability needed for hard-hitting shots. The smaller diameter also means less wind drift at longer ranges, which translates to tighter groups when conditions get tough.
Custom Brass Insert System
Each Axis Pro shaft comes standard with our custom brass HIT inserts, the same inserts I personally designed and have used for over 18 years. These eight to 32 threaded inserts offer a unique 50/75 grain break-off design, allowing you to customize your front-of-center (FOC) balance.
Want more penetration and stability? Keep the full 75 grains. Looking for a bit more speed? Break off to 50 grains. Either way, you’re getting the benefits of brass weight up front where it matters most. This insert system provides the perfect balance between speed and downrange energy.
Broadhead Adapter Ring System
Every Axis Pro shaft includes our BAR (Broadhead Adapter Ring) system. These precision-machined rings encapsulate the end of your arrow and help align your broadhead perfectly for maximum accuracy and consistency.
The internal brass inserts are installed with premium hot melt adhesive that allows you to index your broadheads if needed. Just apply gentle heat and rotate to the perfect position. You need this level of customization to achieve perfect broadhead flight.
Four-Fletch Configuration
Our pre-fletched Axis Pro arrows feature a four-fletch configuration using premium AAE hybrid vanes. This setup provides superior broadhead steering compared to traditional three-fletch arrangements. The four-fletch design corrects arrow flight faster and allows you to shoot multiple broadhead styles with consistent results.
These aren’t machine-fletched on automated equipment. Each arrow is hand-fletched on specific jigs matched to that particular order. This attention to detail ensures perfect alignment and consistency throughout your arrows.

Field-Proven Performance
These arrows bridge the gap between target precision and hunting toughness. At my draw length and throughout my career, I’ve found these arrows hit that sweet spot of weight, speed, and penetration, delivering results on everything from 3D courses to the most challenging hunting scenarios.
What sets these arrows apart from standard production shafts is the quality control process we demand from Easton. These arrows don’t require the hours of prep work lesser arrows do — no floating, spine indexing, or knock turning. The homework has been done for you. Order these arrows, add your broadheads, and hit the field with confidence.
Whether you’re competing at Total Archery Challenge or pursuing trophy game, these arrows deliver the accuracy and penetration you demand. I trust this arrow when everything is on the line.
